Christmas is not Christmas without the family chocolate tub of choice, whether it’s your brother hoarding all the Dairy Milk Heroes, the silence while you all chew on Quality Street’s toffee coins or the disappointment when you discover that all that’s left in the Celebrations box are Bountys. And we all have strong opinions over which brand does it best.

But Nestle’s latest announcement might just swing the vote for a few chocolate enthusiasts. The company has revealed that it is bringing back its coffee creme flavour, which was last found in Quality Street tubs over two decades ago. The exciting news comes just after Cadbury also announced a return of its beloved chocolate coins

Unfortunately, there’s a few snags. The flavour will only be found inside Quality Street’s Christmas crackers (£6) and advent calendars (£10), not its iconic tubs. And you’ll only be able to pick these up from Waitrose or John Lewis.

You could always add the coffee creme to your own personally crafted box at the pick and mix stations in John Lewis or guarantee you get one during advent by creating a ‘fill your own’ advent calendar for £14.

It’s never too early for festive preparation to commence. For all you keen Christmas beans, the crackers and advent calendars will both be on shelves from September 20.
