There aren’t many things Brits can universally rally behind, so when we find them they’re invaluable. Paddington is one such national institution: there’s just no way to dislike that cute little Peruvian bear, even if he does have a rogue choice of sandwich.
Unfortunately, as much as we love him, Paddington remains a fictional character, so it’s unlikely that you’ll ever get to meet him in the flesh. You can, however, find statues of him that have popped up across the country in the past few days to promote the release of Paddington 3, which is coming to cinemas this November.
You can find Paddington in 23 different spots across the country, literally from John o’Groats to Land’s End. He’s made appearances in Liverpool, Cardiff, Reading, and more, munching down on his signature marmalade sarnies. Here’s some pics of him in a few of his favourite spots.
