March has been damp, to say the least, and Brits really deserve some T-shirt weather. Especially with bank-holiday plans approaching, a little sun would go a long way.
Well, after a blustery month, the weather might soon calm down and edge towards tanning temperatures. That’s according to a leading meteorologist, who has predicted that the UK could warm up by the end of the Easter weekend, reaching 20C or above in some places.
Jim Dale, the British Weather Services’ senior meteorological consultant, told the The Mirror that the south and east of England are the areas most likely to need some factor 50. However, even parts of northern England and Scotland could also see temperatures rise above 20C by Easter Monday, he added.
Dale added that April is a ‘swing month’, meaning that the forecast throughout the month could go either way. We have our fingers crossed.
