They might be Turkish, but having a Friday night kebab is a staple of British life. And whether you’re a die hard döner fan, or more of a falafel person, everyone swears that their local kebab place is the best.
Now, the actual best kebab shops in the UK have been crowned, so the debate can finally be put to bed. The winners of the British Kebab Awards 2025 were announced earlier this week in the annual ceremony, which is now in its 13th year. From the best chef, to best takeaway, and customer satisfaction, the awards celebrate the best of the whole kebab industry.
Ibrahim Dogus, founder of the British Kebab Awards, said: ‘The winners of the 2025 British Kebab Awards show the strength of the industry, with great restaurants, vans and takeaways in every corner of the nation.
‘Chefs are constantly reinventing and refining the classic kebab, meaning there’s something new from each one of this year’s worthy winners.’
