Time Out says

Shimokitazawa (or Shimokita, for short) is the place to be for vintage shops and boozy cafes. The station is at the heart of it all, with both the Odakyu Odawara and Keio Inokashira lines stopping here. The station is currently being renovated, and will be 3 levels deep by 2017.

What’s on

Shimokitazawa Flea Market

While you’ll find an abundance of vintage and thrift stores in Shimokitazawa, the trendy neighbourhood also hosts a regular flea market at the Shimokita Senrogai open space, just a few minutes’ walk from the station, beside the Shimokitazawa Police Box.  Expect to find all sorts of treasures and bargains including handmade crafts, jewellery and of course, secondhand and vintage clothing. If you're feeling peckish, the market also features a café as well as a lineup of food trucks selling snacks and refreshments.
