Time Out says

Spud lovers, rejoice: a culinary event celebrating all things potato is being held at Kinshi Park on January 18, offering visitors a warming taste of winter's favourite comfort vegetable. Roughly translating to ‘Association of Friends of the Baked Potato’, the event’s highlight is a comparative tasting experience showcasing various types of roasted yakiimo sweet potatoes.

Beyond traditional yakiimo, you’ll be able to pick from an extensive menu centred on potatoes in every shape and form. Visitors can indulge in classic favourites such as french fries and the quintessential festival grub jaga-bata (butter-topped steamed potatoes), while those seeking a warming beverage can enjoy piping-hot potato shochu, a traditional Japanese spirit.
