Time Out says

The Bon Odori, a communal dance performed in outdoor public spaces, is a common sight at summer festivals across Japan. This festival, however, departs from conventional wisdom by staging a Bon dance in late February. Thankfully, the event takes place indoors and away from the wintry weather – specifically, at the Tenku Gekijo public theatre of the Art Center of Tokyo.

There’s no need to feel intimidated if this is your first Bon Odori, as the floor is open for anyone to join. Better yet, there is no entrance fee and no dress code.

Check the event website for more details. (Japanese only)
