Time Out says

This shrine near Tokyo Skytree is hosting its first nighttime illumination event in collaboration with Tobu Railway. The pathway to the shrine is lit up with bamboo lanterns and colourful takemari (round bamboo ornaments) made by Chikaken, a Kyoto-based bamboo lantern company. The same company is also behind Kurokawa Onsen’s annual Yuakari winter light display and the Hana Akari illumination at Hana Biyori Garden.

Make sure to snap a photo at the gigantic wreath-shaped installation, and don’t miss the torii gate decked out in rainbow lights. The illumination will be lit from 4pm to 10pm daily until February 15.
