Learn more about Japanese culture at this annual fair, which gathers more than 40 craftsmen to showcase and demonstrate the making of traditional Japanese crafts. You’ll get to examine the artisanal products up close, see how they are made, and even purchase them as souvenirs. Free guided English tours are available twice a day at 1pm and 4pm – don’t miss out if you want to interact with the artisans and discover more about their crafts.
Moreover, there are daily workshops, too, where you can pick up some DIY skills from carving chopsticks and dyeing fabric to weaving baskets, stenciling and more. The workshops, which can last anywhere between 10 minutes and one hour, are held three times a day at 11.30am, 2pm and 4.30pm. Advanced registration at the information counter is required.
