One of the most impressive buildings in the city, the iconic Tokyo Station is celebrating its 104th anniversary this Thursday December 20 and this milestone event will take on a festive Christmas theme. Make sure you take part in the Santa Claus bingo stamp rally, where you’ll go on a hunt for 100 Santas numbered 1 to 100. They will be scattered all over the station (outside the ticket gates) and each will earn you a stamp on your bingo card.
When you’ve completed a full vertical, horizontal or diagonal bingo line, go look for one of the four Present Santa Clauses at the lottery assembly hall to enter the lottery for a chance to win a prize. You’ll find your bingo card on the brochure rack at JR Tokyo Station starting December 20.
That’s not all. To kickstart the event, there will be a short and sweet ceremony on Wednesday December 19 (5pm-5.30pm), where you’ll find a total of 104 Santa Clauses parading around the premises. There will be caroling too.
