This event offers a great insight into Japanese tea, with eight tea growers from across Japan taking part. You’ll be able to try a range of teas such as green tea, hojicha and black tea, plus tea desserts.
You’ll find tea from Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Fukuoka, Kochi, Kyoto, Shizuoka, Saitama and Tokyo prefectures at the event. You can also take part in a sweets and tea pairing workshop hosted by the tea sommelier of French restaurant Hasabon in Kagurazaka. Other workshops include a green tea comparison session led by specialist tea shop On Japanese Tea from Fukuoka, and a tea cocktail making activity by Japanese Tea Shop Hatoha in Nihonbashi.
Tea tasting tickets (¥1,000 in advance or ¥1,300 on the day) get you five tastings, while workshops cost between ¥1,500 and ¥2,800 to join. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Peatix.
