Huge commercial complex Tokyo Midtown Hibiya is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year with colourful flower displays and live music. The main entrance will be decorated with an array of bright blooms and from the sixth floor View Garden you’ll be able to see the complex’s lawn covered in around 600 artificial flower objects that light up after dark.
Visit between March 29 and April 2 to catch free concerts at the first floor atrium. Japanese pop singer May J is performing at 6.30pm on March 29 alongside pianist Ryota Kikuchi, followed by pianist Jacob Koller on March 30 at 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Drop by on April 2 to catch a jazz concert with pianist Riyoko Takagi, bassist Norihide Shiota and drummer Ryo Kawamura.
