Tokyo Midtown Design Touch 2016

Inviting you to experience quality design with all five senses, this multi-part event has been an annual occurrence at Midtown since 2007 and now returns with one of its most plentiful programmes yet. The spacious lawn will be taken over by multimedia masters Rhizomatiks, who have created an installation composed of white booths – all of which will be illuminated between 6pm and 9pm, allowing you to stroll through the piece and listen to the sounds of autumn insects drawn by the light. You'll also want to check out the 'open library', which will be set up next to the installation and stocked with design-related tomes. Meanwhile, the Good Design Exhibition, which celebrates particularly noteworthy ideas brought forward over the past year, takes place at several locations inside Midtown from October 28 to November 3.
