Calling all manga fans: the immersive new exhibition The Promised Neverland: Escaping GF lets you join in the adventures of Emma and her friends from the hit manga and anime series ‘The Promised Neverland’.
The exhibition includes a life-size replica of Grace Field House, allowing you to experience some of the most memorable scenes from the manga’s first seven volumes. The first room depicts everyday life at the orphanage with a happy breakfast scene.
However, as you enter the second room, you’ll find yourself immersed in the same dark plot surrounding Emma and the other children, with a replica of the moment in which the heroes uncover the truth behind the seemingly perfect orphanage. The detailed scenery and sound effects will make you feel like you’re living in the story yourself.
Continue your escape from Grace Field House using items you may recognise, such as William Minerva’s owl mark with its hidden Morse code, which you’ll find in the library.
After your exciting escape, unwind at the museum's exclusive character café, which offers special dishes inspired by the series. The menu includes Emma and Krone's Forest Tag hamburg steak (¥1,960), and Minerva and Phil’s chocolate banana pancakes (¥1,600).
There are also exclusive hot and cold latte art drinks (¥770 each), which come with one of six coasters inspired by the manga, plus beverages by coffe and tea specialist The Alley, such as Little Bernie's berry tea latte (¥540) and Isabella's brown sugar milk tea (¥540).
Be sure to book before you head off – online reservation is required via the official website.
