There’s a lot of Wizarding World excitement in Tokyo at the moment. On top of the buzz surrounding the 2023 launch of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo, the on-going Harry Potter exhibition at Tokyo Station Gallery and the upcoming release of ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’, we’ll soon be getting Harry Potter in concert!
The Harry Potter Film Concert Series is currently on a world tour and is set to stop by cities including Vancouver and Paris before hitting Tokyo International Forum Hall for the Golden Week holidays. Featuring the first four films of the franchise, the event will kick off with ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone’ on May 3 while ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ will be screened on May 5.
Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Hiromi Kurita, will be performing live soundtrack and music to accompany each screening. All four films will be in English with Japanese subtitles. You can book your tickets now via Lawson Ticket.
