One of the last hanabi of the season, the Tamagawa Fireworks Festival keeps things fresh each year by introducing a new theme. Regardless of the concept, you can always expect a colourful and artistic hour-long display synchronised to music on Saturday October 5.
While the fireworks show only starts at 6pm, you can come as early as 3pm to enjoy stage performances and food stalls. At the time of writing, only single-seat tickets are left at the paid viewing area, but there are free viewing areas open to the public as well. However, you’ll need to arrive early to secure the best vantage points.
The event is held at Futako-Tamagawa Sports Ground by the river near Futako-Tamagawa Station.
