Shinjuku Bar Week 2017

Get ready for eight days of good-natured boozing in Shinjuku, as this bar festival takes over five areas – Sanchome, Arakicho, Golden Gai, Omoide Yokocho and Shinjuku Gyoen – in the neighbourhood. All sorts of events will be taking place at each location, but count on most of them involving discounted drinks. Likely highlights include the Golden Gai autumn festival on October 8 (3pm-10pm), the Shinjuku-Sanchome World Wine Festival on October 9 (12noon-4pm) and the Shinjuku Gyoen Bar-Hop Nights on October 13 and 14 (from 4pm).
