Shibuya is a dizzying, neon-filled nightlife hotspot filled with a labyrinth of bars and eateries. Your local guide will lead you around the famous Shibuya Scramble and help you untangle the web of izakayas and bars to choose from.
Guides are available every night and will lead you to three of their recommended eateries. Meat lovers will love Niku Yokocho, a maze of alleyways hidden in an unassuming building - the regular tourist would look right past it. It’s filled with 30 izakayas serving meat, bevvies, and even more meat in a communal atmosphere. Not sure whether to order the yakiniku or beef sushi? Don’t worry, your tour guide is there to help read the menu and offer recommendations. Once the drinks begin to flow, the tables of each restaurant blend together and you’ll be mixed in a crowd of both travelers and locals, your bilingual (or trilingual!) tour guide will help initiate and translate conversations. At the end of the evening you’ll have your fill of Japan-only meat dishes and more than a handful of new drinking buddies.
