Seaside Cinema

This golden week, Yokohama’s seaside Minato-Mirai neighbourhood is hosting two outdoor movie events concurrently. At the Marine & Walk Yokohama, a five-day-long event will bring together five award-winning films, including the Academy Award-winning ‘Call Me by Your Name’ and the 2013 British rom-com ‘About Time’. At the nearby Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse however, the focus will be on director Mamoru Hosoda exclusively, who won widespread recognition with the 2018 anime hit ‘Mirai’.
