“Sake in Flowery Celebration” Festival

Head to Red Brick Sake Brewery for a day of saké samples, delectable cuisines, and live performances. You’ll find a variety of saké on offer – look out for Konoike Brewery, voted fourth in World Sake Brewery Ranking in 2019 – an extensive platter of local cheese to pair with your drinks, and gourmet food truck Takinogawa serving yakisoba fried noodles. Both days will be filled with live performances by artists such as bossa nova singer Lisa Ono, koto player Kasumi Watanabe, and bilingual rakugo (humorous storytelling) entertainer Diane Kichijitsu. A special free tour of the Red Brick Sake Brewery is also available, but tickets are limited, and it’s first come, first serve, so you’ll need to be quick.
