Ralph Lauren’s festive ice skating rink at its store in Ginza is themed on ‘A winter in New York’ and features an illuminated eight-metre-tall Christmas tree at its centre. The rink itself is made from a synthetic material that was developed by Spanish manufacturer Xtraice. Only 12 people are allowed to skate at a time due to the rink’s smaller size of only 88sqm.
Reservations have to be made in advance through Ralph Lauren’s official Line account. Admission is ¥3,000 (¥1,000 for children aged 5 to 12) and includes skate rental, a pair of Ralph Lauren gloves and a free seasonal drink at Ralph’s Coffee – you can choose between a gingerbread latte or an orange-flavoured hot chocolate.
Note that ice skating sessions are limited to 45 minutes.
The rinks is open from 11.30am to 6.15pm, until 6pm on Dec 31; closed on Jan 1.
