Naked Market

Even a newcomer to Japan can quickly tell this country has a serious single-use plastic problem. Naked Market is a special event at the Farmers Market @UNU geared towards reducing plastic use and developing more sustainable habits, starting with grocery shopping. Vendors invite you to bring your own containers, empty bottles and bags to fill up with fruit and vegetables, bread, wine and other groceries.
