Head to Miyashita Park’s rooftop garden this Christmas for purple illuminations and a beautiful Christmas tree. The purple colour is meant to represent Shibuya’s diversity, and people of all backgrounds are encouraged to spend time together. In addition to the festive lights, you can expect food trucks daily up until Christmas Day. Pick up a mulled wine and grab some hot snacks while relaxing on the spacious lawn, while listening to Miyashita Park’s original Christmas song – a collaboration between the facility and singers Sunny Only 1 and ASA Wu.
You’ll also find a number of Christmas-themed illustrations across the mall by famous Japanese illustrator Ado Mizumori. If you spend ¥5,000 or more at one of Miyashita Park’s stores, you’ll receive a free tote bag adorned with a cute motif designed by Mizumori.
The illuminations take place daily until 10pm.
