From November 11, the wizarding world of Harry Potter is taking over the Marunouchi district with an array of festive holiday displays to celebrate the movie’s 20th anniversary. Until Christmas Day, you’ll see a giant tree decked out in lights that look like candles with a backdrop of four banners representing each of the Hogwarts houses, just like in the movies. You can view the tree anytime from 6am to 12midnight, but come between 5pm to 9pm to see a magical light show with a 3D hologram display.
There will also be a 30m-tall Christmas tree-shaped illumination at the entrance of Tokyo Torch Park, as well as a Fantastic Beasts-inspired display on the first floor of Marunouchi Oazo and a mini tree at Marunouchi Brick Square inspired by the scene when Harry receives his acceptance letter(s) from Hogwarts.
