Maguro Fujita: Deluxe Bowls

Tsukiji's tuna specialists Fujita are offering a summer treat to all you friends of the big and fatty fish: four limited-edition donburi (rice bowl) dishes will be on offer for a week at the Tamagawa Takashimaya shopping centre, where you can try the finest maguro over shari rice prepared with Sukiyabashi Jiro's signature vinegar mix. Prices range from around ¥2,000 to ¥5,500, depending on the quality of the fish on offer. If you don't have time for an early-morning Tsukiji run, this offer certainly makes for a nice substitute.
