Japan’s biggest Hawaiian event is back at Osanbashi Hall in Yokohama on April 16 and 17. Both days will be filled with large-scale hula, Tahitian dance and musical performances, including a special event featuring former sumo wrestler Konishiki – who comes from Hawaii – to celebrate his 40th anniversary in Japan.
There will be over 40 booths where you can enjoy Hawaiian delicacies like malasada doughnuts, fried chicken and garlic shrimp plates, fresh lemonade, lilikoi cakes, as well as shops with casual surfwear, ocean-inspired jewellery, pineapple-shaped candles, ukuleles and much more.
