The fashion and art focused Hotel Koé in Shibuya recently announced that it’ll be closing for good at the end of January. You can visit one last time this week to celebrate its last three days with lots of music, food and special events.
From January 28 to 30, the hotel will be exhibiting works by artists who have collaborated with Hotel Koé in the past, and the third floor guest rooms will be open to the public. For ¥500, you can take a look inside each room, some of which will have pop-up shops set up by local artists. Reservations must be reserved in advance through Peatix.
On Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy live music from DJs, too. Or come down on Friday for a massive fair on the second floor where all the hotel’s goods and merchandise will be on sale, with discounts of up to 70 percent off. The first floor restaurant, known for its all-you-can-eat bread service, will be offering a lunch meal inspired by the classic Japanese okosama lunch (kids meal), as well as exclusive baked goods.
