Evening Kanda River Cruise

If you're looking for a novel way to cool down this summer, how about taking an evening cruise of Tokyo's waterways? The awkwardly named Enjoy Eco School NPO will be embarking on six twilight trips along the Kanda River this summer, on July 31 and August 7, 14, 17, 21 and 25. The first cruise of the evening departs from Shinmisakibashi Bridge Wharf (near the west exit of Suidobashi Station) at 5.30pm, or you could catch the return leg from Izumibashi Bridge (just south of Akihabara Station) at 7pm. There are limited spaces available, so you'd do well to sign up as soon as possible – check the website for details (Japanese only).
