In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Japan’s long-running animation series Doraemon takes over Jimbocho Theater for an entire month to show every Doraemon movie ever made. Headlined by 2020’s new movie ‘Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur’, the festival features over 40 movies including the very first one which will be shown on a 35 mm movie print, just like when it came out in the 80s. Sadly the movies are only available in Japanese, but it’s worth a visit if you’re a Doraemon tragic.
