Dino-A-Live Dinosaur Grand Night Parade

Time Out says

Looking for a night at the museum experience? Well, Tokyo can do one better. For just two nights in September, life-sized dinosaurs will be gathering at the Tokyo National Museum for a special parade in front of the museum’s Honkan Japanese Gallery.

Taking inspiration from the Japanese folklore of Hyakki Yakou (The Night Parade of One Hundred Demons), this special event will feature famous dinosaurs such as T-Rex and Triceratops, as well as lesser-known species such as the Fukuiraptor found only in Japan, Ankylosaurus and Stegosaurus. Catch the sight of these ancient creatures roaming the Earth again as though depicted in ancient Hyakki Yakou scrolls. This is bound to be an unforgettable and thrilling evening.

The dinosaur parade will last for roughly an hour, starting at 8.15pm. Tickets range from ¥2,200 (standing) to ¥21,000 (VIP box seats). You can get your tickets via Ticket Pia, Lawson Ticket and Eplus from 10am on August 24.
