Countdown Cruise around Tokyo Bay

For those in the market for a classier New Year’s party, you can’t do better than this scenic cruise around Tokyo Bay. The ship boards at 10.30pm and departs at 10.50pm for a two-and-a-half-hour cruise around the bay. Entertainment on the cruise, aside from the gorgeous night views, is a ‘marching band’ (though we’re not quite sure how they fit that on a cruise ship). Perhaps the most enticing part of the cruise is the 20-dish buffet and nomihodai (all-you-can-drink) that’s included in the price, plus a champagne toast at midnight (also included). All that fanciness doesn’t come cheap, though, with cruise tickets going for ¥18,000 each.
