Despite blooming in early spring and not really being roses at all, Hellebore flowers are apparently also known as Christmas or winter roses due to their resistance to cold and suitability for year-round gardening. These pretty but occasionally poisonous plants are on display and sale at this three-day fair in Ikebukuro's Sunshine City, where gardeners also give talks on how to best grow and tend to the flowers.
