One of Japan’s most beloved snack brands, Baby-Star is collaborating with Tobu department store in Ikebukuro to create exclusive meals using the popular ramen snack. Selected restaurants on the food floors (B2F and B1F) and restaurant floors (11F to 13F) are offering gourmet meals using the chicken-flavoured dried ramen snack for a limited time from July 28 to August 10.
For something you can just grab and go, the pork keema curry bread by Bakerys Kitchen Ohana comes coated with a layer of Baby Star ramen (¥378). Otherise, get the crispy Baby Star arancini (¥220) from Napoli Delicatessen or a Baby Star karaage fried chicken (¥450 for 100g) from Avancer Plus.
Prefer a sit-down meal? Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu’s Baby Star beef katsu (¥2,068) or Good Morning Bangkok’s Baby Star Curry Pho (¥990) will fill you up nicely. Each of the Baby Star dishes has limited servings per day, so we recommend going earlier in the week when it’s less busy.
