Craft bakeries and pâtisseries from across Japan gather once again at the UNU farmers' market for the weekend. The event is a great opportunity to stock up on quality baked goodies, offered by a total of more than 80 bakeries, cafés and shops.
In addition to the sampling and shopping, this installment of the popular event will include several special programmes: a Signature Bread section with artisans putting their best bread forward; a pop-up lunch collaboration from 12noon to 1pm between Japanese-Vietnamese restaurant AnDi and Yoyogi-Uehara’s Katane Bakery; and a pop-up restaurant from 3.30pm to 4.30pm, which involves a local chef and baker reinventing bread using a new type of yeast.
