Time Out says

To close out Women’s Month, the pan-African group African Women in Japan is hosting an afternoon of cultural exchange featuring guest speakers, food, fashion and more. Hear from women all over the African diaspora as they discuss their experiences living and working in Japan and share their knowledge on topics ranging from international business to motherhood.

For lunch, get a taste of authentic African cuisine at the buffet, serving up the likes of fufu, pondu and various staples from West and Central Africa. (The buffet includes one free beverage.)

The festivities don’t stop there. The four-hour event will also feature dance performances and a brief fashion show to showcase traditional clothing from various regions of the African continent.

The event takes place in Roppongi at the Franciscan Chapel Center on Saturday March 29. Tickets are ¥4,000 and can be purchased here.
