This facility is situated in Chiyoda, behind the National Theatre, and was built in 1979 as Japan’s first national popular entertainment hall. All sorts of shows are performed, from rakugo (traditional comic storytelling) to acrobatics to magic. It’s easily identified by the striking red lanterns lined up in a row outside. The performance hall seats 300.
