The Kanze association performs Noh, a style of traditional Japanese musical drama. To fully appreciate the energetic dynamics of Noh, you really have to see it live. The original Kanze Nogakudo was a venerable Noh theatre originally established in 1901, when the organisation was founded. It moved from Shibuya to its current location in the basement of the Ginza Six complex in April 2017. For regular performances, they sell ‘happy hour’ tickets which allow you to see the last part of three Noh plays. The price is reasonable and even those new to the art form can enjoy Noh this way.
