Burlesque Annex Yavay

Opened in September 2017, Burlesque Annex Yavay is an offshoot of the hot and happening Burlesque Tokyo, one of Roppongi's more exciting 'show pubs'. But instead of performers in teeny tiny denim shorts and cutaway crop tops, the cast here consists of dancers dressed in anime- and geisha-inspired outfits, while the soundtrack is heavy on anime music as well. They've also put plenty of work into the décor, with contemporary artist Nanami Ishihara in charge of the design. There are three shows daily, from 6.30pm, 9pm and 11pm.
