A newly constructed multi-level complex that opened on Feb 26 2010, Yamaha Ginza Building, which sits in the very same location as the original Yamaha Ginza Building, this space functions as the flagship building for the Yamaha brand. In addition to housing a retail space that offers one of Japan’s largest selections of instruments and sheet music, the complex also includes facilities such as live studios, music salons and even a music school. The building is also home to a state-of-the-art concert hall known as Yamaha Hall, which through its cutting-edge acoustic design provides a space in which the timbre and rich reverberations of a wide variety of instruments and sounds – from a softly played pianissimo to a full-blown orchestral performance – can be truly appreciated.
