This is the first Tokyo outpost of Utsunomiya-born bakery café The Standard Bakers.You can choose from more than 50 different types of bread specialities daily, including options made with seasonal ingredients. Don’t miss the Tokyo-branch exclusive brioche buns, as well as cream bread that uses a special type of egg known for its rich and sweet taste.
If all those sweet treats aren’t enough, the bakery also runs an on-site burger stand. Go for the premium option made with Toyonishi beef from Hokkaido, which will be prepared fresh to order. The burgers use the bakery’s house-made buns and boast a rich umami taste.
