Time Out says

Jewellery and wine may not seem directly related, but they share a significant connection – they’re often part of our most special occasions. Whether you’re looking for a bottle of bubbly to enjoy with a loved one or a stunning new necklace for yourself, you’ll find a tasteful selection of both at Pauline Studio. This select shop in Harajuku offers bespoke jewellery and natural wines from both local and international makers.

Founded by Kyoka Kato and a wine connoisseur, Pauline Studio is an independently owned business with plenty of character. Inside its bright, beautiful space, you’ll find a curated collection of jewellery – from ethically crafted rings from the US to vintage-inspired earrings from Spain – as well as delicate pieces designed in-house. The jewellery is displayed in a central cabinet, accompanied by descriptions of each brand, much like an exhibition. There are also groovy hair accessories and sunglasses, and at the other end of the shop, you'll discover the wine corner.

The wine selection is just as thoughtfully curated, with local bottles from Fukuoka and Yamanashi featured alongside boutique wines from California and France. Whether you're a fan of pét-nat or a Riesling enthusiast, there’s something here for everyone. And if you're unsure what to pick, the owners are always happy to help you choose the perfect bottle.

Pauline Studio is clearly a labour of love, with its founders serving as tastemakers of both jewellery and wine. It’s a small business that keeps the independent spirit alive in Harajuku, and that’s just one of the many reasons to visit.
