Known primarily as the purveyors of the world's most expensive melons, Sembikiya have decided to focus on sweets made with a range of high-quality fruit at their Ginza Six stand. Besides cakes, baked treats and jellies, they have beautifully displayed sandwiches (tasty but somewhat difficult to eat) and other more savoury items, all with a fruity touch. About 70 percent of their menu is exclusive to this outpost, meaning that it's actually worth the trip down the escalator – and not only for those very upscale fruit tarts.
