Papabubble Shibuya

While Papabubble, the speciality handmade sweet shop, usually calls Barcelona home, they're becoming something of a chain here in Tokyo, now operating locations in Shibuya and Nakano as well as inside the Daimaru Tokyo and Lumine Est department stores. What makes Papabubble different from most rivals is that you can actually see the sweets being made. Inside, you can get up close and see the sugar being stretched and cut into its final candy form. There are displays of sweets in all shapes and sizes, and there's always a delicious sugary scent in the air. Their colourful sweet creations, shaped like fruits or animals, make for great gifts.
