Originally established in Kyoto in 1705, Lisn specialises in incense. This shop stocks about 150 kinds of stick incense, with fragrances including sandal wood, fruit, exotic aromas and more. There is also a huge selection of incense holders, which make great gifts. The shop's interior is designed by Eriko Horiki, a washi (traditional Japanese paper) designer, and the spectacular display of colourful incense sticks are surrounded with off-white washi papers. Lisn introduces four or five new fragrances each year.
