Specialising in Edo Kiriko glassware, Hanashyo operates this store and showroom inside a nondescript house just off the shopping arcade in front of Kameido’s Katori Shrine. One of today’s premier names in this traditional art, the origins of which reach back into the 1820s, Hanashyo’s gorgeous, stylish wares make for impressive souvenirs. The selection ranges from cups and vases to lamps and decorative items, with their original kome-tsunagi pattern a particular highlight.
