Shibuya’s beloved Hachiko gets his own dedicated shop on the 14th floor of Shibuya Scramble. Here you’ll find over 50 kinds of exclusive snacks and souvenirs promoting Hachiko’s birthplace, Akita prefecture. Grab instant kiritanpo soup, traditional crafts, cakes and tote bags, all of which come with adorable Akita-inu packaging.
Don’t forget to check out the shop’s most popular item, the buttery cheese sable crackers which use rice flour from Akita prefecture and feature a design of the Hachiko statue. And before leaving, snap a photo with the shop’s own Hachiko statue made of a sugi (Japanese cedar) tree from Akita in collaboration with the Akita University of Art.
