Japan's very first outpost of Taiwanese bookstore chain Eslite has finally arrived in Tokyo located inside the new Coredo Muromachi Terrace in Nihonbashi. Eslite is well-known for its 'Eslite Spectrum Songyan' shopping centre in Taipei, that was chosen as one of the ‘world’s 14 coolest department stores’ in 2016 by CNN.
The new 'Eslite Spectrum Nihonbashi' provides four different zones: a book zone with publications selected by the shop’s experts and complete with a tea salon, a zone selling stationery and miscellaneous goods, a workshop zone with permanent glass blowing kilns on-site, and a restaurant area that specialises in Taiwanese cuisine. The Eslite space is also set to hold large-scale events featuring different performances and exhibitions for visitors to enjoy.
