The full-scale Gundam replica stationed outside is the most distinctive thing about this Odaiba shopping mall, which has none of the high-concept barminess of the cod-Romanesque VenusFort. It does, however, seem to edge out its nearby rival with its selection of shops, including au courant fashion retailers like American Eagle Outfitters, Hollister and the country's largest branch of Armani Jeans. The complex also houses a bowling alley, concert venue and – no joke – a rooftop vegetable patch.
