Time Out says

Hailing from Australia, Deus Ex Machina is a cool hangout spot inspired by motorcycle and surf culture. It’s well-known for its superb coffee, but you can also grab a bite to eat or sip on cocktails at this laidback venue. For lunch, the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries (¥1,200) is a popular choice; it goes well with a flat white (¥550) or housemade lemonade (¥750). Look out for its unique cocktails, too, like the spicy gin sonic with red pepper (¥900).

You can take a seat outside or stay indoors to appreciate the motorbike- and surf-inspired decor. There are also artworks on display, which you can buy for around ¥5,000 to ¥8,000 per piece. What’s more, Deus Ex Machina stocks a range of cool merchandise such as T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats and mugs. Some items are exclusive to this store; they are printed with the Asaksa address, making them great souvenirs.
