Known for their deeply satisfying chocolates and macarons, Debailleul have struck down in a depachika once again, with Ginza Mitsukoshi's second basement floor the target this time. Besides the take-out chocolate and pastry options, they also have a café counter where you can order their signature Avalanche, a ball of vanilla ice cream and crumble encased in chocolate and served with a hot chocolate drink on the side. It's also the place for a boozy tipple in the form of wine or a caffeine pick-me-up, so if you need a short break from all that shopping, head here. They sell cakes only in bulk, but luckily deal in macarons and bonbon chocolates by the piece too.
